Kevin J James

St. Maarten, Neth. Antilles

Born and raised on the island of St. Maarten, Kevin James has attained his AA and BFA in Graphic Design. Kevin first attended International Fine Arts College in Miami,FL. where he obtained his AA. While there, he helped tutor students on several software programs used. He furthered his studies at the renowned Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. Kevin’s passion for the graphic arts lead him to take his work to the next level, which inspired an instructor to create a project for Sophmore and Junior classes. Kevin’s work has been selected as Best Grpahic Illustration at IFAC, featured in the Annual Best of Ringling Shows, received an Honorable Mention in the Photography Minor Show.

After working for a short period in the US, Kevin returned home where he worked at a local graphic design company.
A year and half later, Kevin opened his own graphic design company, Kreative Media. He has since then produced, marketing material for some the island top companies such as, St. Maarten’s Carnival Foundation, Sonesta Maho Beach Resort and its group of companies, TELCell (the island’s leading cellular service provider), NAGICO Insurances (regional insurance company), SMITCOMS (the island’s leading international carrier) and more.

Kevin has been instrumental in bringing the St. Maarten/St. Martin SummerFest to the mass; by creating its logo and all of its marketing material.
